Pictures from the showroom - Ryan Scott
Ryan was referred to me by a current customer and needed a suit for his April wedding.
When I met him I knew why a custom suit would be perfect, he is in shape and very tall. This is probably the hardest combination to find in a traditional store. With wide shoulders and a slim waist Ryan would be stuck in a jacket that is way too and baggy. In addition because the pant waist would be extremely over sized the suit would need considerable work.
When Ryan’s suit came in I was a little nervous about the fitting, but as you can see it ended up fitting fantastic.
For the tall guys out there reading this, notice the jacket length. It is proportional to his body, a lot of times the jacket length is way to long with creates a sloppy look.
Another key area is the rise of the pants, try to keep this area from dropping too low. Since a lot of time the pants that come with your suit will be too big for you the rise is usually huge. A tailor should be able to bring this up or you can try to mix a smaller size pants.
Keep these important measurements in mind anytime you are searching for a off the rack suit or you have to go the rental route for a friends wedding.
Feel free to any further questions as I’m always happy to help.
